At Inkscribed, barakah does not simply mean leaving behind less wealth or living with only what remains for our families.

To us, barakah means ensuring that every blessing entrusted to us is managed responsibly, thoughtfully, and with clarity after our passing.

One of our clients reached out to us during the final stage of her cancer journey. As a mother, her greatest concern was not herself, but the future of her young daughter who remained highly dependent on her for education, care, and daily support.

During moments like these, uncertainty can quickly become overwhelming.

Questions around which assets were intended for specific responsibilities, how funds should be managed, and who would continue caring for the child became increasingly difficult for the family to navigate emotionally.

We spent close to three hours together with her family in a structured continuity discussion — carefully planning how her daughter’s education, welfare, and long-term needs could continue to be supported over the next ten years.

Together, we clarified responsibilities, aligned expectations, and documented clear instructions to guide the family moving forward.

Most importantly, the family came together in agreement to honour the structure and intentions she thoughtfully prepared during her lifetime.

Three months after engaging our services, she returned to her Creator.

Today, beyond the will document itself, her family was left with something equally important — clarity, structure, and a shared understanding of how to responsibly continue caring for her daughter. Her executors and guardians were able to carry out their roles with confidence, guided by clear intentions established before her passing.
